One-Time Store Product Setup for POs

When an order is placed on your integrated OMG Pop-Up or Company Store, it arrives in your workspace as a draft order with the essential customer sales details. However, to transform that order into a Purchase Order (PO) for your supplier, we need a few more "procurement-ready" details that your store doesn't provide, like the product's supplier, your cost, product variants, artwork, and decoration specs.

In this article you'll learn how to edit a draft order to setup your store products' information to make them PO-ready for future orders.

Please Note: You only need to complete this setup the first time a specific product is ordered from each store.

1. Click Orders in the left menu
   
    
2. Select Draft Orders in the dropdown
   
    
3. In your draft orders list, locate and click to edit the draft order sent to your workspace from your Pop-Up or Company Store
   
    
4. Next, edit the first product you need to setup to be PO ready
   
    
5. Add the product's available details the supplier would need to fulfill your order:
   • Supplier of the Product
   • Product Variants like sizes and color
   • Your cost with the supplier
   • Product Decoration information
   • Customer's Artwork
   • Product Category (optional)
      
6. Once additional information has been added to the item, click Save
   
    
7. Repeat steps 4-6 until all products have all the needed procurement details added.
8. When this is complete your order information is ready to be generated into a supplier PO. To do this, click Place Order
   
    

💡 Pro-Tip: Preparing for a Pop-Up Store Launch

If you want to be 100% "PO-Ready" before your store officially opens, try this trick: Submit a single test order containing one of every product and at least one available variant. Once that order hits your workspace, follow the setup steps above to finalize each item. This ensures that every customer order on Opening Day is ready for fulfillment the moment it arrives!
 

The One-Time Store Product Setup is the bridge between your customer sales and your supplier fulfillment. You only need to complete this setup the first time an order is received for a specific product each of your stores. After taking a moment to complete your store products' information, the system "remembers" these details, allowing you to skip the "draft order" phase so the system is able to generate (not send) POs for all future orders of that item automatically.
