Overview
Initiate the actual transfer of funds directly through your workspace to move physical money from your bank account back to your customer.
If you use any other payment method: You must manually issue the refund through that specific platform (e.g., PayPal, your bank’s portal, or a physical check).
- In the left menu, select Invoices
- Then choose Receivables
- In the Receivables list, Preview the Receivable by clicking the transaction number
(you can also preview it by going to the three-dot menu to the left of the transaction number and choosing Preview)
- In the Preview page, click the Stripe logo to the top right of the receivable details
- In the window that pops up, click Begin Refund
- Next, enter the Refund amount, select the Reason for the refund, and enter additional details if needed
- You'll see a "Successfully refunded" message after you click refund.
If you don't see this message check the details entered in the Send Refund window and/or your Stripe configuration within your workspace.
